During the summer of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, the choreographer Asun Noales created, at the L’Excorxador Centre in Elche, the show Death and the Maid (on Schubert’s piece with the same name), which won the 2021 Max Award for Best Choreography, Best Dance Show and Best Lighting Design.
The documentary narrates the creative process of this dance performance from the initial idea to its theatre premiere, accompanying the performers and participants in this journey of transformation from life towards death, where one passes from the visible to the invisible.
