“The 20th century is beginning, and with it tango is beginning to consolidate as a genre of its own in a place in world called Argentina. La Revirada Tango Club is a social club founded at the same time, a witness of the evolution of the genre and of its social and human context. The history of tango, of a country and of several generations passes by this house of dance that experiences moments of success and abundance as well as others of slowdowns and crisis. Decade after decade, neighbours, dancers and tourists have passed by La Revirada. R.E.A. (Reminiscences, Experiment, Artistic) has been working in the field of dance for 32 years without interruption. It has an extensive curriculum with numerous choreographic creations and theatrical dance productions. The fusion of tango, Argentine folklore, contemporary dance, vertical dance and acrobatics are the hallmarks of this original company. It has recently been awarded the Malaga Athenaeum's Artistic Trajectory Award.
