In this opera, four allegorical characters (Fame, Delight, Understanding and Love) argue to see who should have the honour of welcoming the new, recently appointed Archbishop of Burgos in 1741.

The musical ensemble La Capilla de Música ‘Maestro Iribarren’ was founded in Malaga in 2006 with the objective of studying, performing and disseminating the unpublished historic musical pieces of the Musical Archives of the Cathedral of Malaga, in particular those of Jua
Francés de Iribarren (+1767) and Jaime Torrens (+1803). They have already made several recordings of these works, and have participated in Andalusian and national ancient music festivals.
The group comprises first and second violins, first and second oboes, recorder and transverse flute, plucked string instrument, baroque cellos, double bass, historical percussion and positive organ.
In 2019 Antonio del Pino, the group's director, won the Best Musical Work award given by the Malaga City Council, and in 2020 obtained his PhD in musicology from the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, specialising in Spanish Baroque music.
