The Regina caeli programme consists of music which, due to its sound, text or texture, speaks of light, stars, angels and the month of May; music on different levels that take us to different worlds, that mixes ancient and contemporary repertoires, but in which a brilliant and luminous harmony always predominates to offer emotion and enjoyment. Regina caeli like the bells that announce a celebration, rejoicing in anticipation of what is about to happen.
Composed of 28 singers and its director, the El León de Oro choir was founded more than two decades ago, during which it has offered all types of concerts with an ample repertoire ranging from Renaissance and Baroque masters to the most avant-garde premieres, a great deal of enthusiasm and very high level of quality. At present the choir is considered a benchmark in Europe, endorsed by more than 50 national and international awards.
