Following more than three decades as lead singer of La Union, Rafa Sánchez is back on the road to offer his best music with new solo pieces, such as 'Vístete princesa' and 'Cielo azul', as well as the iconic band’s greatest hits, including ‘Falso amor’, ‘Lobo hombre en París’, ‘Más y más’ and ‘Vuelve el amor’.
With sounds of pop-rock and greatly influenced by the British new wave, La Unión broke up in 2020 following a brilliant career of 36 years, a repertoire of more than 150 songs, with unique lyrics of clear literary influence, and more than three million copies sold of its numerous albums.
Rafa Sánchez says that he has been exploring urban music, poets like Neruda, classic rhythms and Latin chords, and that he is elevating the Spanish influence in the face of English-speaking sources. And even though he states that “the essence of La Unión has stayed with me”, he insists that in this new phase “he  is going to surprise”.
