De tu casa a la mía is the musical portrait of Rosalía de Castro and Federico García Lorca, hand in hand, and the feelings of two artists, two souls with a long-standing mutual understanding that seek to give wings to the verses of both poets.
Uxía is considered the grand lady of Galician music and one of the persons who has done the most to disseminate the poetry of Galicia. In the course of an artistic career of more than 30 years, she has renewed the traditional music of Galicia, merging alalás with mornas, fados and rhythms from Brazil. She has published twelve records and was acknowledged with the 2016 Galicia Critics Award and the Independent Music of Spain (MIM by its acronym in Spanish) Award for Best Roots Music for Meu canto.
Javier Ruibal is a self-taught, heterodox composer, arranger, guitarist and singer: a cross-border musician. More than thirty-five years in the world of music are a testimony of this creative, unique musician who is different from all others of his generation and cultural background. He has received numerous awards in the course of his career, including the National Award of Present Day Music and the Goya for Best Original Song.
