Blue is much more than a color. Blue is a bridge you tiptoe across and that takes you to Picasso’s imaginary world. It is a show that brings the painter’s work to little ones in a visual manner, one in which imagination plays an important role. The succession of scenes full of colour, shapes and music invites spectators to immerse themselves in Picasso’s most noteworthy artistic periods and to acquaint themselves with his evolution.
Azul Picasso was premiered in 2023, during which the 50th anniversary of Picasso’s death is commemorated and which also coincides with the company’s 45th anniversary.
The company Acuario Teatro, which is from Malaga, alternates shows that it creates with adaptations of well-known children’s stories, always accompanied with original music, polished language and surprises with which they demonstrate that good stories never die.
