Have you ever dreamt of finding a wonderful lamp with a genie inside that could grant you three wishes? Have you ever thought about the wishes you would ask for?
This story is about a little girl who only has one wish she wants to fulfil: that her mother be cured of the illness she is suffering from. But the wonderful genie in the lamp can only grant wealth, beauty, power or fame. This little girl does not long for any of these things; so her story will make us wonder whether the lamp is really of any use and reflect on desires, acceptance and love, which can overcome the difficulties we face in life.
Festuc Teatre was founded in Lleida in 2003 thanks to the artistic concerns of Ingrid Teixidó and Pere Pàmpols. Their main objectives are that spectators enjoy the show, positively assimilate the whirlwind of emotions each actor provokes, and reflect on the values they address in their show.
