In a world in which fame is fleeting and social media control the destiny of celebrities, an influencer whose popularity is diminishing decides to purchase a chimpanzee and use it in her videos to earn money and attract followers. So Lemba appears, after being torn from her family and her home in the jungle to live as an animal for entertainment on the Internet.
Lemba, the main character of this moving story, is not willing to resign herself to this fate. Determined to change her life, she will embark on a dangerous odyssey to flee from captivity and look for a refuge protected from poachers, deforestation and the illegal traffic of animals, a new home where she can start a new life and finally be happy.
