Donde mueren las palabras tells the story of four childhood Friends who decide to abandon their home town and move together to Madrid in search of their dreams. But soon lies, secrets, envy and jealousy will put to the test their friendship, which seemed indestructible. They will discover that life is not as marvellous as we are told; and perhaps not as long.
A tragicomedy that speaks about being oneself, without fear or insecurity, and proposes a positive and optimistic message, one of hope. And laughter that cures, never the one that hurts.
Following its premiere at the Teatro Lara in Madrid and its success in Latin America, where it was considered one of the 10 best plays of 2021, Donde mueren las palabras is now on tour in Spain. The actors Daniel Arias (Cuéntame cómo pasó, El Internado: Las cumbres), Iván Montes, Alejandro Vergara (El secreto de Puente Viejo) and its author and director Angel Caballero (Desaparecidos, Brigada Costa del sol) will bring us this play about such essential topics as the lack of communication, homophobia, mental illness and friendship.
