There are realities that freeze our hearts and leave us speechless, unable to react. El ruido de los huesos que crujen is about one of these realities: girl and boy soldiers. In the middle of the night, Joseph, who is eight years old and the youngest child of the camp, is awaken by Elkia to flee together from the violence and search for a future.
“Miradores de Escena is a project for advancement and creation that stems from the friendship and the minds of Paco Bernal y Nacho Albert. Following the death of the latter, MdE has found continuity with Fernando Jiménez, a great connoisseur of theatre. A project for the advancement of contemporary theatre that emerged ten years ago at the Cervantes Theatre and has continued to the present. The event consists of series of dramatised readings, music and presentations devoted to the theatre of Latin America, Scandinavia, France, Asia, Russia, amongst other areas and countries. With El ruido de los huesos que crujen, MdE initiates a commitment to complete productions, providing spectators with a double experience: the discovery of contemporary authors not generally seen in our circuit, and discovery of the path that goes from the dramatised reading to the complete theatrical show.” Paco Bernal and Fernando Jiménez
