Los guapos is the story of a re-encounter. Nuria and Pablo grew up in the same marginal working-class neighbourhood. However, their lives have taken different paths. Pablo is a lawyer specialised in humanitarian causes, and hasn’t gone back to his childhood neighbourhood for a long time. Nuria, on the other hand, is suspended in time, without many options or opportunities. After years of not receiving any news about each other, Nuria gets in contact with her former friend seeking help in a legal matter. This rapprochement will force them to address their own lives and to review their common past.

In Los guapos, two characters embody two different versions of destiny. Pablo and Nuria grew up in the same neighborhood, but their lives have evolved very differently. (…) The reencounter will be an opportunity to listen to each other, to understand these disparities which finally took them on divergent paths. (…)
The title of Los guapos refers to the fragility of someone who was once desired. Nuria was never able to live up to expectations because she was probably someone on whom others projected their own fantasies. Something which Pablo also did with her.
