“Know the truth and have no one believe you, or know nothing, tell lies, and have everyone believe you?
Journey through the life of the mythological Greek man/woman seer Tiresias, who confronts, in first person and with fragments of classical tragedies and other stories, the power of tyrants and their interests with his prophetic vision [which consisted of knowing how to look at the darkness of the present when no one wanted to see]. Myth and tragedy, story and drama merge in a text in which we find the great classical figures who requested – very often in vain- Tiresias’ services as diviner: Zeus, Hera, Narcissus, Echo, Agave, Creon, Oedipus, Ulysses, Antigone, Jocasta… and I say “in vain” because no one likes to hear the bitter truth, especially the truths that make the edifice of our existence sway and alter the interests created: is there anything more rabidly contemporary and sadly on-going than this eternal dilemma?
On this mythical journey we go over the long, intense life of Tiresias and witness for the first time the story of his personal tragedy: to live knowing his future which sadly repeats itself over and over again, just as we mortals are predestined to trip over the same stone twice, or more often: the blind arrogance of the diviner in eternal conflict with the clairvoyance of the blind person.”  José Manuel Mora
