2020 BROADWAY WORLD SPAIN AWARD FOR BEST MUSICAL
With 17 artists and live music, Ghost. The Musical brings to stage the love story that triumphed in the 1990 film starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, and won two Oscars.
Sam and Molly’s happiness is cut short when Sam dies as a result of a violent assault. Sam’s spirit resists abandoning the world of the living: he decides to stay as a ghost near his girlfriend to protect her from the same threat that cost him his life. With great effort and difficulties, he tries to warn Molly of the danger she faces. At that point the swindler Oda Mae Brown appears, presenting herself as a medium to help Molly contact Sam.
Love, humour, intrigue and the supernatural, together with unforgettable songs and extraordinary stage effects, combine to create a perfect experience for all ages.
LETSGO has produced very successful plays and musicals, including Charlie y la fábrica de chocolate, Dirty dancing, La familia Addams and the saga The Hole, as well as other events such as Naturaleza encendida. In 2020 it won the ‘Innovation and Sustainability’ award granted by the Madrid City Council on occasion of the World Day of Tourism. In 2022 it won the Eventplus Gold Medals for Best Cultural Event and Best Staging, granted by the Events Sector of Spain and Portugal, for the immersive museum experience Magellan and Elcano: without limits.
