ESCENA ABIERTA MÁLAGA is a theatrical series of the Teatro Cervantes Malaga-Procultura and the Malaga Provincial Government’s Department of Culture created at the proposal of the Romero Esteo Association.

An actress, a chair, a screen, a coat rack, objects, a multitude of simple objects, a piano, a woman sitting at the piano, strange, curious, funny, unconventional instruments; music, songs, the sound in the fabrics, in the bare feet, in the voice that narrates, breaks, draws and sings the text. The characters merge with the music in a constant dance where word, action and song tell us a beautiful story of love and loss, of fear of old age and longing for childhood.
Inspired by Federico García Lorca's When Five Years Pass [Así que pasen cinco años], Leyenda is a journey through poetry, the poetry of words, of movement, of music, of objects. The word construed as music, and music as a complement to the word.
Espacio Espiral was established in 2009 in Santander as a physical space for the search and research process on the work of actors based on the basic principles of the International School of Theatrical Anthropology (I.S.T.A. ), the legacy of the Polish master Jerzy Grotowski, the study of movement and contemporary dance (Rudolph Laban, Contact-Improvisation dance, New Dance and Authentic Movement, Butoh dance) and voice (Roy Hart Theater, Dynamic Voice Therapy, Vocal Technique and Psychomotricity, sung voice). This search is also carried out in the urban environment in order to interact in non-theatrical spaces and turn the city into a living and changing cultural itinerary.
