This classic clown duo is inspired by the aria ‘Vesti la giubba’ from Ruggero Leoncavallo’s opera Pagliacci. In their attempt to make opera, the brothers Carablanca and Augusto discover clowns’ tragic destiny: to make people laugh even when their heart is broken. Fifty-five minutes and thirty-seven seconds of laughter, music, love, singing and lots of clowning around for the whole family.
The company from Extremadura Asaco Produccion was founded in 1997 with the aim of proposing activities that cause laughter and of sharing the performing arts with different sectors of society. Its artistic development is specialised in indoor and street theatre, contemporary circus and clowning.
